Tom began his fitness journey in 2011 when he was introduced to CrossFit while working for Reebok. Never having been a fan of traditional gym environments, Tom quickly fell in love with the group dynamic and community of CrossFit and has never looked back.
Tom officially joined a CrossFit gym in 2012 with his wife, Karla and at the age of 33, Tom was in the best shape of his life. In 2014, Tom completed his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate and began taking steps towards becoming a CrossFit coach. He officially began coaching CrossFit in 2015 at Surrey CrossFit under the guidance and mentorship of Head Coach, Adam Tulk.

Jen has been active in CrossFit for 2 1/2 years, and has been a CrossFit Level 1 certified coach for 9 months.
She recently became certified as a Precision Nutrition Level 1 nutrition coach, and, with her drive to constantly seek new knowledge in these areas, is actively involved in many of the courses that CrossFit has to offer.
Jen’s passion for helping others become better versions of themselves makes her a valuable part of our Panda Performance Lab coaching staff!

Grace began her CrossFit journey in August 2012 with no prior experience in the fitness industry. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at UBC, she began a career in law enforcement that involved long shifts and an unstable work/life balance. Based on a coworker’s recommendation, Grace found a local CrossFit affiliate close to where she lived and decided to give it a try. Little did she know, it would transpire into a journey that positively changed her life physically & mentally.
