Tom officially joined a CrossFit gym in 2012 with his wife, Karla and at the age of 33, Tom was in the best shape of his life. In 2014, Tom completed his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certificate and began taking steps towards becoming a CrossFit coach. Grace began her CrossFit journey in August 2012 with no prior experience in the fitness industry. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature at UBC, she began a career in law enforcement that involved long shifts and an unstable work/life balance. Based on a coworker’s recommendation, Grace found a local CrossFit affiliate close to where she lived and decided to give it a try. Little did she know, it would transpire into a journey that positively changed her life physically & mentally.
